Javier García Sedano has a degree in Physics and received executive education in IE and IESE Business Schools. With more than 30 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence applications in Industry, he is the Founder of OPTIMITIVE (2008), with a large track of successful innovative AI applications, and most remarkably the optimization in real time of Power Generation, Cement, Chemicals, Metal processing, Automotive and more. He worked previously in companies like IBERDROLA Engineering, ORMAZABAL Group and TECNALIA Research Corporation, having carried out R&D Management and Technology Transfer responsibilities. His technical areas of expertise include: Industrial Artificial Intelligence; Machine Learning and Optimization Algorithms; Advanced Process Control; Energy and Resource Efficiency in Industrial Processes; Advanced Industrial Datamining and Data Analytics. As a founder, he participated in the SURGE Accelerator program in Houston-Texas and has won several prizes and recognitions to entrepreneurship and innovation.
